Choice Cuts - Butcher Crafting Stations
Dec. 18th, 2018 04:55 pm
Sims can now produce their own meats cuts with the Butcher's Station. Depending on their skill level they may butcher up to 32 different animals. A sim will acquire from these stations various animal parcels that can then be opened to receive all butchered items from a carcass. While butchering animals, sims will gain Cooking Skill. As their skill increases they will be able to unlock more options for butchering. For larger animals, sims need both high Cooking Skill, and a Writ of Mastery. When a sim reaches level 7 Cooking Skill, an option for the Writ will become available on the station. Keep the Writ in a sim's inventory to enable butchering options.
Each butchering option requires one animal carcass of the appropriate type to be in a sim's inventory.
● Butcher Poultry - This option offers all fowl animals to be butchered, whether domestic or wild: Chicken, Duck, Goose, Pheasant, and Turkey.
● Butcher Small Animal: This options offers small animals that are domestic or wild and not primarily used for pelt hunting: Rabbit and Hare.
● Butcher Wild Game: This options offers all Trap and Hunting Sun&Moon style animals: Deer, Wolf, Boar, Bear, Fox, Mink, Beaver, Raccoon, Skunk, and Sea Lion.
● Butcher Livestock - This option offers all livestock animals that are available in Sun&Moon style: Cattle/Calves, Highland Cattle/Calves, Goats, Hogs, Sheep/Lambs, and Horses.
● Butcher Rare Creatures - Under this option are all animals that are considered to be out of the norm from various fantasy/scifi/etc settings that are available in Sun&Moon style: Brahmin Cattle/Calves, Rad Stag, Halla/Halla Fawns, Horker.

Bonus Items
These items were originally released with Sunni's initial version of the butcher's set and it was always in the plan to re-release them here. These files have been changed to reflect they are now part of the Sun&Moon Butcher Station proper and that they have now been slaved to the new version. They retain all of the old GUIDs. This means they will override the original files slaved to the old version of the Butcher Station.
Holding Basket
This shallow holding basket acts as a Magislay Tray. Because magisplay tray cloning is weird, it must first be placed on the ground to put items into it's slots and then moved to where wanted. Moveobjects On may be needed.

Fridges
Three new fridges to the set. Two TSM Hanging Animals and the Hanging Rack made functional. Each comes with a slaved emptied version.

Butcher's Counter and DecraChill or Display Shelf

This is the same mesh cloned on two different objects. The DecraChill will keep all prepared food fresh just like the game DecraChill. There is also a matching display shelf with 14 slots that can be used with anything other than food. The meats the Butcher's Crafting Table produces do not spoil and they also do not fit the slots on the DecraChill which is the reason the Display Shelf was created. Both items are slaved to the Butcher's Crafting Table and can be found in the catalog under Surfaces -> Shelves.
Functional counter for food preparation or use as a sale counter (for register), etc. Has 2 deco slots on top and 6 deco slots on the shelves within the counter. Slaved to the Butcher's Crafting Table and features the same butcher block top. Found in the catalog under Surfaces -> Counters.
Hanging Rack

As seen in many medieval pictures of butchers, the hanging rack is a decorative item featuring hams, sausages, as well as fresh meat. Slaved to the Butcher's Crafting Table. Found in the catalog under Appliances -> Miscellaneous.
Butcher's Display Easel

Small tabletop reference to the types of butcher's cuts available. Includes 8 recolors. Slaved to Butcher's Crafting Table. Found in the catalog under Decorative -> Sculptures.
Butcher's Carving Rack

Features a butchered pig hanging from a hook. This is cloned on the punching bag so your Sims can "Tenderize" the pig and build their fitness levels. They will switch into their gym clothes when using the rack. Slaved to the Butcher's Crafting Table. Found in the catalog under Appliances -> Miscellaneous.
Butcher's Stove & Grill

Functional stove and oven. The grill pan is a separate object that snaps into place in the left opening of the stove. There is a slot in the bottom of the oven area to put the fire logs. Has two recolorable subsets and is slaved to Buggybooz Niche Set. Found in the catalog under Appliances -> Cooking.
