Need to stash away those extra simoleons? Send your taxes to the local lord? Keep exact track of your profits? Don't trust the bank to take good care of your currency? Now with this handy set of banks your sims can do that and more. You get a total of 38 different banks; all the various styles of modern, medieval, fantasy, grungy, floor and wall. From bags, chests, hidden painting vaults, to just plain stacks of cash.

Each bank has 4 options: Depost X Amount, Withdraw X amount, Insect, and Carry:

These banks are made to purely hold sims' household funds. Sims have the options to Deposit or Withdraw funds at any time.Whatever is deposited into them comes out of those household funds, and vice versa with withdrawls being made.

Sims have the options to Inspect a bank, which will tell the exact amount being stored inside of it at that moment.



Sims can also Carry a bank. When they do the entire bank AND it's funds inside are put into a sim's inventory. This can then be gifted to other sims or dropped off on other lots for other sims to pick up. Whatever sim has possession of the chest will deposit/withdraw simoleons.

Open/Close the chest lid for decorative purposes. Also, there is an invisible recolor option on the "contents" gold layer so the chest can be filled with other items. There are three slots located in the bottom of the chest.


 

Banks can be placed on tables, counter or ground. Visible in hood view. Wall style banks are meant to be used with alcoves or holes in walls made by other items (such as BB Niches), and may require "moveobjects on" and "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false" cheats enabled for more precise placement. If one doesn't want to pair them with a wall cutout or niche, they have a build in box perspective to give the illusion of a space in the wall. This can be turned invisible to get the desired effect. They shift up and down if AL is installed.

 All banks come in three sizes - Small, Medium, and Large. Depending on the size of the bank, it has a different capacity.

• Small - Costs $10. Can deposit/withdraw in amounts of 25 or 100, has a capacity of 1000.
• Medium - Costs $50. Can deposit/withdraw in amounts of 100 or 1000, has a capacity of 10000.
• Large - Costs $100. Can deposit/withdraw in amounts of 500 or 5000, has a capacity of 20000.

Banks may have from 0 to 4 slots based on what type they are, and there are several recolor options included for a number of them. All banks can be found in General > Dressers...because I'm considering them storage and this is as close a category Sims 2 has.
